George White,
Director of Policy Innovation Works, has been helping organizations
create a better future for nearly 30 years.

| George
has substantial project, program, and executive management experience,
working for and with a variety of public, private sector, and nonprofit
organizations. Perhaps most notable are his twenty years with the
City and County of San Francisco, where he held a variety of positions
including Program Director for the Mayor's Office, Assistant Executive
Director for the Clean Water Program, Assistant to the Director for
the Public Works Department, Capital Resources Manager, and Program
Director for the Office of Geographic Data Services. |
| George
has extensive experience in policy and financial analysis, technical
writing, website content development, capital asset management, and
Geographic Information System (GIS) project implementation. He has
worked on a wide range of projects -- including multi-million dollar
capital improvement campaigns, organization development, infrastructure
planning and management, and GIS program development — establishing
a positive track record of integrating people, process, and technology
to deliver meaningful results. |

2000, George founded Policy Innovation Works, a consulting firm specializing
in helping clients create a better future for their organizations
and the people they serve. |
| George
holds a Masters degree in Public Policy from the University of California
at Berkeley, Goldman School of Public Policy, and a Bachelors degree
in Political Science from San Francisco State University. |
